TPNplus is a group of 'Value Added Services' available to TPN Members which will provide Members with cost-saving opportunities to source goods and dervices on a centrally controlled basis. This will make bulk-buying a reality for many who would not otherwise have access to this kind of discount, especially for one-off or low volume products.
The first of these to go 'Live' will be TPNplus Exchange.
What is TPNplus Exchange?
TPNplus Exchange is a members-only website where you can post both loads you need to move and empty journeys you anticipate; giving your business a head-start with both backloading your own vehicles or finding members to move your loads if you can’t.
How does it work?
Whenever you have ‘Goods to Move’ that you choose not to move yourself, you can post them on TPNplus Exchange, where they will remain for a pre-set time period for TPNplus members to pick up. After this period, if they are not picked up by TPNplus members, the load will move onto Haulage Exchange main website, where it can be picked up by Haulage Exchange members as well as TPNplus members, giving you the greatest opportunity of moving your goods at the right price.
What can I use it for?
You can post any goods you need to move, from an envelope requiring a motorcycle courier to full loads on 44T vehicles anywhere in the UK. Simply post the goods on the web and wait for the offers to come in – you decide whether an offer is acceptable, and you set the timescales for collection, delivery etc. Post your empty vehicles on the same site for the opportunity to backload them instead of running them home empty. In short – use it as much or as little as you want!
When will I get paid for work I do?
Any work done inside TPNplus Exchange between TPN Members will be centrally billed by TPN on a weekly basis so your payment is guaranteed and your cash-flow assisted – simply submit your signed POD and a copy of the rate confirmation with your invoice, and it will be processed in line with existing TPN procedures. No more waiting 30 / 60 / 90 days for payment – you’re a haulier, not a moneylender!
What if my job is picked up from Haulage Exchange by a non-TPN Member?
No problem – TPN will still control invoicing so you will be invoiced by TPN, who will pay the external haulier who has completed the job – no hassle for you dealing with unknown suppliers.
I am already a member of The Haulage Exchange – why should I join TPNplus Exchange?
TPNplus membership guarantees your weekly payment via TPN so you will get paid on time, every time. All the risk of dealing with unknown suppliers is borne by TPN, keeping your business as safe as possible. Of course, any work picked up inside TPNplus Exchange will be done by suppliers whose quality you know and have traded with for many years - you know they will treat your customers as their own.
